SEMA 2024 - Rockstar Garage is Live With East Coast Gear Supply

If you missed it, Nic Ashby from Rockstar Garage caught up with East Coast Gear Supply President, Chase Perry to talk about the latest at ECGS innovations SEMA. Jeep TJ - Essentially Unbreakable

Nic and Chase talk through the stretched-out Jeep TJ with East Coast Gear Supply 14-bolt axles. Chase goes into detail about the problems with the OE casting and how he developed a solution to improve the OE casting. Listen to Chase talk through how this product has one of the best ground clearances for the ring gear size and how overall this ends up being a much stronger axle as a result.

Speaking of ECGS designed products, Chase said, "everything we did is very high production, high run, highly engineered and highly designed to be economical and essentially unbreakable."

Kingpin Inner C's and Knuckles (Timestamp: 3:14 to 6:34)

Chase goes into some details about why the Kingpin Inner C are better than ball joints and how the Kingpin is stronger and easier to service. Watch them discuss the new East Coast Gear Supply KP540 which is the new Ultimate Kingpin Knuckles which is being released soon.

Market Changes and Dynamics (6:34 to 7:42)

Chase talks about the change in how people are using their vehicles. Vehicles are now dual purpose as daily drivers and off-road vehicles and everything is getting bigger. "42's are like the new standard tire size...it's not 35s anymore!"

Scrub Radius (Timestamp 7:49 to  8:32)

Nic explains the scrub radius of the new knuckles and how East Coast Gear Supply has improved performance so your tires aren't getting into the body or the suspension when making tight turns.

Rock Buggy (Timestamp 11:15 to 15:25)

One of the first big builds done with Rockstar Garage. Nic goes into detail about the spooled axles and what went into the Rock Buggy build.

Vehicle 3 – New Gridlock “Alter Ego”

Rockstar Garage unveiled the new build at SEMA using new axles from East Coast Gear Supply. These axles are the pinnacle of performance but are available at an affordable price. Alter Ego features front and rear steer Dana 80's with 4.0 inch axle tubes and KP540 knuckles. Nic exclaimed, "This was my easiest axle install in my life."

USA Built and ETAs

Since we control the inventory and process in our North Carolina facility, we are able to build practically any axle to your specifications in a very short amount of time. "Once we have the specs, it'll move through our shop in 3-4 days...Start to finish this axle is built from scratch in 4-5 days."
