Precision Gears Ultralight series is almost 6 lbs lighter than the standard gear without sacraficing strength. Precisions Ultralight series is also three times the weight reduction of other competitors lightened gears, as their gears are just "chopped" gears. In addition the Pro gear series are manufactured from high nickel content SAE 9310 steel for increased strength and resistance to shock loads. And, they are heat treated to be softer to absorb the high shock loads in drag racing applications.
